Okay, Google...

Face masks are currently "strongly recommend" on public transport, and this describes the context in which I found myself reading an SMS as my tram rolled up.

The message was a notification that my recurring dog food delivery was about to ship. I wanted to delay it a week, but that would need my home computer. So I said to my phone, "Remind me in 1 hour, pet circle."

Luckily the mask was also good for hiding my suppressed, nervous giggling.

Next Entry: Many Worlds

I'm a third of the way through and while I'm enjoying the story so far, the exposition has reminded me that I'm a little weary of the many worlds theory. It seems to be the go-to pseudo-science behind a whole lot of the science fiction I've read or watched recently, and I'm finding it hard to believe that there could be a new universe for every decision that every living creature that ever lived or could have lived.
